Pete Murray (born 19 September 1925) is a retired DJ and actor. He was an early DJ on BBC radio and one of the first presenters of Top of the Pops and other 'popular music' shows such as Six-Five Special on BBC TV. He also was a stage and screen actor. He first joined the English service of Radio Luxembourg in 1949 or 1950 as one of its resident announcers, and his broadcasting career spanned over 50 years.
