Verboten was a punk band from Chicago who existed in the early '80s. Vocalist Tracy Bradford, who was 14 when the band began, is often cited as Dave Grohl's cousin, but is actually the daughter of his mom's childhood friend, and who he considered "family as much as any blood relative". Guitarist Jason Narducy, who was only 10 years old when the band began, has continued to play music, perhaps most notably as the live bassist for Bob Mould. Narducy was interviewed about Verboten in the documentary "You Weren't There".
