Liza Morrow

Real name: Ruth Morrow

Singer, born Ruth Morrow. She was born November 27th, 1913 in Brooklyn, New York. Kit sang with the Benny Goodman band in the mid forties under the name Liza Morrow.

She changed her name to Kit Carson, and then Kay Carson, in the mid fifties.

Im 1955 she had her only hit recording (number 11 of the Billboard top 100) with the track: “band of gold”. The flip side of that single was: “cast your bread upon the waters”.

Deceased Sunday, June 24 2001 at age 87.
