American singer / songwriter, guitarist, actor and pharmaceutical chemist. Recorded an album on Capitol Records of all-original songs, and wrote 2 Top 15 country hits for Debby Boone. Written and published 6 cookbooks, most notably, "Gone With The Grits". She invented Grits Bits snacks and now specializes in Georgia-themed gift baskets.
