Freddie Washington
Real name: Frederick Charles Washington
American jazz pianist, born c. 1900 in Houston, Texas.Moved to California c. 1918, recorded with Kid Ory in 1922, during 1920s and 1930s led own band, and also played with Ed "Montudi" Garland and Paul Howard. In 1944 recorded with Zutty Singleton. Remained active in the 1960s.
