Not to be confused with French writer Manuel Joseph.

Manel Joseph, often credited as Manuel Joseph, is a catalan singer who started by the late 60's with a band called "Dos + Un", with Ia Clua and Jordi Clua. Their music was an acoustic pop in catalán. In the 70's he was in varios bands of the "Onda Laietana" (progressive rock in catalan), as "Patatas Fritas". In 1974' Christmas he founded "Orquestra Platería" with Sisa, Gato Pérez and other friends, to play salsa, pasodobles and other popular dance music.
