UK based group who described their music as "Afro-West Indian Funk". They went through a variety of line-up changes: in April 1971 they were Vernon "Chubby" Cummings (congas), Hugh Ashton (b), Kenny (St.) George (v, perc), Helen Denniston (v), Derek Mandel (lg), Ige Adebari (rg), Denny Morris (cga), Richard Mainwaring (d). At the beginning of 1972, Val McDonald replaced Mainwaring, while on the album recorded in July 1972, George (who left to form Dalai Lama) was replaced by Abel Mann. Around September 1973 they were Cummings, McDonald, Alvin "Popsey" Williams (v), Mark Ramos (lg), Chas Chiedo (b) and Gerry Glene (Jeery Glean? k). Members in 1974, included Cummings, Glene/Glean, Ramos, Chiedo, Williams and Scipian Gibbs (drums). Cummings, McDonald and Ashton will regroup around 1976 to form Ozo.
