The Atoms were formed in Derby, UK in 2000 and the original line up was Joe Atom, Jimmy Atom and Jess Atom. Jimmy left the band and over the next two years they had a succession of bassists culminating in Tom Stretcher. This line up performed for a further 9-12 months until Jess decided to leave and was replaced by Tim Jennings. The current line up is Joe Atom (Vocals, Guitar). Glyn Rutherford (Bass, Backing Vocals). Gaz SpeedKing (Drums, Backing Vocals).
