Real name: Joan Vilaplana i Comín

Catalan singer-songwriter.
Born in Esplugues de Llobregat on September 17, 1953.
He composed "A Margalida", a very popular song in Catalonia that has become a hymn against the death penalty.
The letter (Dedicated to his girlfriend) is inspired by the execution of the young Catalan anarchist Salvador Puig Antich, in 1974, in the Model prison of Barcelona by the dictatorial regime of General Franco.
