In June 1993, Alana, Benj and Teri, collectively known as Vanna Vanna, were launched as the only female vocal trio in the Philippines. They were first named as FOJ, but changed their name to Vanna Vanna. In August 1995, producer Christian de Walden brought the trio to do recording in the U.S.The Vanna Vanna album was the group's first international album, being released in the Philippines, Japan and Holland.
