Mexican musician and composer (rancisco Gabilondo Soler was born on in Orizaba, Veracruz, October 6, 1907 - Texcoco, Mexico, December 14, 1990), known as Cri-Cri.
During his childhood he read the stories of the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen. He also taught himself to play the pianola.
He became a composer and performer of children's songs. He recorded and performed his songs under the name of Cri-Cri: El Grillito Cantor ("Cri-Cri: The Little Singing Cricket").
