Teddy Dan was born in Daniel Town, Jamaica and came to England with his family in 1969. He has been playing music in England since 1977, during which time he has supported Black Slate and Misty In Roots amongst others. As a member of the Twelve Tribes of Israel he has worked with many famous reggae stars including Dennis Brown & Freddie McGregor & in 1980 sang with Bob Marley in celebration of the birthday of H.I.M Emperor Haile Selassie.
