Pearl Carr and Teddy Johnson were an English husband-and-wife entertainment duo, popular during the 1950s and early 1960s. Their profile was elevated when their song Sing Little Birdie came second in the forth staging of the Eusrovision Song Contest in Cannes in 1959.
She and her husband charted twice in the U.K., first with "Sing, Little Birdie" , which landed at #12 in 1959, and then with "How Wonderful to Know", #23 in 1961.
In the 1940's, she sang with the Keynotes.
