Ensemble founded by Gustav Leonhardt during his tenure at the Vienna conservatory in the early 50s. They released two albums on Vanguard in 1954 before disbanding when Leonhardt moved to Amsterdam.Do not confuse with Leonhardt Ensemble, a name used by Pro Arte for its (re)issues of later recordings by Gustav Leonhardt.
