Mark Podberezsky (born 23 July 1939, Moscow) is a Soviet composer and musicologist. Graduated in 1961 from the philological faculty of Moscow University, in 1957 from the evening music school of the Oktyabrsky district of Moscow. In 1963-1966 he was a consultant to the foreign commission of the Union of Composers of the USSR. Since 1966 Art. Consultant of the Secretariat of the Union of Composers of the USSR. Compiler of song collections (own translations).
