Leffe Carlsson

Real name: Leif Carlsson

Swedish artist, living in Slöinge, born March 13, 1947 in Gothenburg.

Hiss career began as a singer in the Stockholm group Cheers (1965–1968). Cheers toured both in Sweden and abroad, mainly in Finland. In 1968, the band ended when the parents stopped the gigs, the young people were about to graduate and it was not possible to combine school with tours as you got home late at night.

Leif Carlsson was appointed and crowned Sweden's Rockprins (rock prince) of Tyrol at Gröna Lund in 1972. The following summer, Carlsson was Sweden's most booked folk park artist. But then the music career stopped.

Carlsson was also in The Swedish Elvis Songcontest in 1993 and toured together with Elvis Presley's original musician, guitarist Scotty Moore and drummer D.J. Fontana. He has also toured together with Bonnie Tyler.

Carlsson is still active today in various music constellations with a nostalgic connection: RRS-73, The Sixties and Nostalgiresan. He participated in 2011 in TV4 and in, among other things, major galas such as the local radio station Radio Nostalgi's 25th anniversary in 2018 together with Danish Michelle Birkballe. Carlsson was previously also a standing artist feature in Hans Edler's pop galas.
