Bolivian folk group created in Bolivia in 1968 by Mario Porfirio Gutiérrez, they later moved to Europe.Initially named Quinteto Ruphay, Grupo Ruphay or Ruphay, they altered their named to Rupay, or Los Rupay in Europe to ease the pronunciation.
