Witchbreed is a female-fronted metal band that comes from Lisbon, Portugal, featuring ex-Moonspell bassist and founder Ares and the excellent Ruby Roque on vocals. Witchbreed was created by the hands of Ares (bass) and Ricardo Dikk (guitar), and after looking for a vocalist, Ruby come on board and Filipe Sousa (guitar) and Tiago "Hollow" Lopes (drums) were added to their ranks. With the support of Ascendance Records the band was officially committed to recording their debut album “Heretic Rapture”, which took critics and audiences by surprise due to their furious performance.
