American pianist (born November 27, 1878 in Worcester, MA - died March 5, 1966 in Cambridge, MA)Accompanist of violinist Fritz Kreisler. Lamson studied piano and organ abroad and received a doctorate in music from Amherst College. Together with his wife, Helen Westgate, he ran the Lamson Music School at Lake Placid, NY. He also taught music at Boston University.
