Remco Helbers

Remco Helbers is a Dutch musician and sound-sculptor. Initially working on ambient pieces, resulting in 2002’s “On Some Road” CD self-release, later he concentrated solely on Indian classical music, playing surbahar (bass sitar) and rudra veena, and most recently focusing on melting guitar soundscapes, ney (Turkish flute) and sampling (tribal percussions and Tibetan bowls/bells).
