The Seamonsters

Members: Jonny Purcell, Billy Gruner, Ross Farnell (2), Dean Denham

Australian band based in Sydney formed in 1982 by Billy Gruner and Dean Denham as an electro/funk outfit. In early 1985, Dean Denham left the band, which changed musical direction and became a garage rock band. The group continued with numerous line ups until its demise in 1991.

The band released two singles "Black Rum" and "City Of Funk" and three albums " Winter Sun" " Seamonsters" and "Lost Days". A fourth album was started but the band broke up during the sessions.
