Queta Y Teo

Real name: Queta & Teo

Effective period / Period of releases: 1964 - 1966

Queta and Teo (Queta Pizà Aulet and Teo Pizà Aulet), pioneers of Spanish children's music, sang excellent melodies, which were cool and pleasant to the ears. Queta (Enriqueta) and Teo (Mateo) were a brother and sister duo from the island of Mallorca, and were 7 and 10 years old. In the mid-'60s, they sang songs in Catalan, composed and arranged by their father (Nicolau Pizà).
Their story began in 1964, hired by the Catalan record label Edigsa (for the Catalan language) and Vergara, its subsidiary, for recordings in Spanish. They also recorded for the Discophon and EMI labels.
