Michael Oman
Michael Oman is a recorder soloist and director of the early music ensemble the Austrian Baroque Company.
In 2001 Michael Oman founded the Austrian Baroque Company, a specialist period-instrument band for the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, which he presents regularly in artistic projects ranging from intimate recorder recitals to Baroque ensemble music and recorder concertos. For more than 15 years he has been performing with Austrian Baroque ensembles and modern chamber orchestras, and acts as the spiritus rector of his Austrian Baroque Company (ABC) as recorder soloist and director in most European countries as well as South America and the Middle East.
