US vocalist born Aug. 6, 1942 in Detroit as Gasper Badalamenti. He was given the name Mickey Denton by his manager John Brooks in 1960. He recorded a large number of singles for various labels associated with Harry Balk including Big Top, Twirl & Impact. Other recordings were leased to Amy, Mala & World Artists and various other labels. Mickey also recorded one record on Impact with Harry Balk's wife, Patti Jerome as "Patti & Mickey". She later recorded for Motown as "P.J." Mickey followed Harry Balk to Motown and released on single on Rare Earth as Michael Denton. Numerous other songs were recorded at Motown
