Vocal-instrumental ensemble "Merry voices".
ВИА "Весёлые Голоса" (VIA "Merry Voices") was created at the Lenconcert in 1969 by artistic director Viktor Ivanovich Shchepochkin, who previously worked in the ensemble "Druzhba" under the direction of Alexander Bronevitsky. The main soloist of the ensemble was the popular Leningrad pop singer Anatoly Korolev.
The ensemble repeatedly changed its composition, released one large and several small records at the Мелодия company, but despite the fact that in the 80s the ensemble successfully toured and had VIA-style hits in its repertoire, the Мелодия record company after 1979 did not publish them again for a year.
