Ed Lee Jones a.k.a. Ed “Too Tall” Jones was born February 23, 1951 in Jackson, Tennessee. Jones is a retired American football player who played 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He briefly left football to attempt a career in professional boxing and singing. In 1981 he recorded "Funkin On Your Radio" released on Fun City Records. Together with Tony Hill (wide receiver of the Dallas Cowboys) and singer-songwriter of the R&B group The Main Attraction he owned a piece of the Memphis label that ran and produced music from 1981 till 1985.
