Female soul trio from Washington D.C.

Francine Barker a.k.a. Francine Hurd formed the group with Dyanne Stewart and Nancy J. Johnson in the mid 60's and debuted at Mira Records, a subsidiary of los Angeles' Mirwood. Their debut, was produced and written by Van McCoy. They released just one single with that name before they name themselves Sweet Things and sign a contract in 1965 with Columbia's Date.
