Portland-based space-drone quartet Yume Bitsu (Japanese for "dream beats") was founded in 1995 and released material until 2004. Singer/guitarist Adam Forkner went on to make music with drone-rock surrealists Surface Of Eceyon as well as solo material as White Rainbow; Guitarist Franz Prichard released solo album Atlantian Waves and collaborated with members of Japanese group Moools and Takashi Ueno as Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi. Drummer Jason Anderson led the indie pop project Wolf Colonel before releasing albums under his own name; keyboardist Alex Bundy released solo material as Planetarium Music.
