Donna Douglas (born September 26, 1932, Pride, Louisiana, USA - died January 1, 2015, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA) was an American actress, perhaps best known for her role as "Elly May Clampett" in the CBS TV series The Beverly Hillbillies (1962–1971). Douglas frequently performed as a gospel singer and spoke at churches across America. She recorded several gospel albums, the first being released in 1982. She also recorded a few minor country music records during the 1970's and 1980's.
