Italian beat band based in Padova (1965), formed by Franco Serena (voice), Oliviero Peci (guitar), Maurizio Elponti (guitar), Paolo Giuffrida (bass), Francesco Stoppa (drums) and inspired by British bands such as The Kinks, The Who, The Pretty Things. Their debut as The Ranger Sound is with Noi Siamo Felici / Ricordarmi released by CDB (owned by Carmine De Benedictis) and is followed by Ragazza Notte / Un Tipo Per Te (lyrics written by Mogol), realized in green vinyl. So, the band comes up with the new name with Una Città in Fondo al Mare / Ma Saprei.
