Honey Hill
Real name: George Hill
Blues pianist, who cut several sides with blues singer Bill Gaither for Decca and OKeh between 1931 and 1941. Gaither was a close friend of blues singer and pianist Leroy Carr, and the Gaither and Hill duo was patterned after Carr and his partner, guitarist Scrapper Blackwell's style and template.In 1938 Hill also recorded two piano solos for Decca.
