Hosea Leavy
Blues singer, guitarist and bassist from Fresno, California. He was born in Altheimer, Arkansas, November 26, 1927, and died August 12, 2008.
Older brother of Calvin Leavy, on whose "Cummings Prison Farm" he played bass. His first recording under his own name was a 45 for Riceland, recorded in Stuttgart, Arkansas, in 1969, followed by another 45 for Soul Beat in 1973. In the 1990s he recorded for Fedora.
