Ann Sexton (born Mary Ann Sexton, February 5, 1950 Greenville, South Carolina) is an American soul singer who recorded mainly in the 1970s. Her biggest hit, "You're Gonna Miss Me", reached the R&B chart in 1973. She was Chuck Jackson's cousin and married to Melvin Burton. After her divorce, she worked at a New York City school as a paraprofessional, using her married name Mary Burton. In 2007, she started to perform again, appearing at European festivals organized by DJ Dan Dombrowe.
