Positive Vibration

Members: Marek Miedziński, Szczypior

Positive Vibration one of the legends of the Polish reggae scene was created in 1991 after the breakup of several other bands (including Zielone Żabki, of which Mister was one of the leaders). The musicians came together to play a jam session, but the fate was different. After a very warm reception by the concert audience, the decision is made to form a band. In 1992, the first recording session took place in the studio "Iglica" in Wroclaw. As a result of these recordings the idea for the debut cassette entitled "Higher Taste" is created. This is how cooperation with "QQRYQ Productions" began. Then two positive Vibration tracks are released on the compilation CD "All Human Rights Reserved". Very friendly opinions from the music press fell (which was a big surprise for the band), but the band is still identified with the undergroud stage, and sometimes (which was certainly influenced by the lyrics) with the straght edge scene. In 1996 Positive Vibration records another album "Against Maya", this time in a professional EXE studio in Szczecin, it is also published by QQRYQ.
The material on the "Sound & Message" is the majority of songs recorded during these two sessions.
Throughout the duration, the band plays in the same composition, only from time to time the other guitarist changed (for reasons not dependent on the band). For some time the band cooperated with Robert Brylewski.
Positive Vibration played countless concerts, bigger and smaller, among others at the Jarocin festival and about 10 times at Przystanek Woodstock.
