Lev Lvovich Christiansen (born February 28, 1910, in Pskov Russian Empire, passed October 13, 1985, in Saratov USSR) was a Soviet musicologist, teacher and folklorist. 1943 he founded the Ural folk choir (Государственный Уральский Русский Народный Хор) which he headed as Artistic Director until 1959.
