Died 21 November 1972 in Munich, Germany.

In Berlin she was engaged at the famous variety theater Scala and called herself Kary Barnet from then on ( german alias; Charlotte Elisabeth Treml ). Her patrons included the swing musicians Michael Jary and Benny de Weille. In 1943 she began as a singer and presenter at the Soldiers' Radio in Belgrade.

Kary Barnet died in an apartment fire in Munich.
