Top Jimmy
Real name: James Paul Koncek
American blues rock singer, died May 17, 2001, in Las Vegas age 46. Top Jimmy was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Southern California. Gaining the nickname “Top Jimmy” from his job at Top Taco, he became well known in the Los Angeles punk and blues / roots rock scene as he fronted Top Jimmy & The Rhythm Pigs in the 1980s. He went on to front other bands, including The Top Jimmy Lineup. He moved to Las Vegas in 1993.
