Vocalist from Goa, India, also known as the Goan nightingale. Well-known Jazz singer who sang for her mentor's band, Chris Perry (6), from the age of 15 for many years.
The crowd-funded film “Nachom-ia Kumpasar” (Let's dance to the rhythm) is a Konkani film from 2014 based on the lives of the two jazz musicians. It takes its title from the name of a song by the two artists. Set in the 1960s it is a tribute to the Konkani musicians of that era.
