The Snakes

A short-lived British and Norwegian hard rock band, formed by former Whitesnake members Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody in Norway in 1997. Moody and Marsden had started working together again in 1992 as Moody Marsden Band.The line-up consisted of guitarists Marsden and Moody with Norwegian musicians, vocalist Jørn Lande, bassist Sid Ringsby, who later joined the Norwegian band TNT, and drummer Willy Bendiksen.
The band toured playing 'An evening of Whitesnake music' and released a live album of their European leg of the tour. They also recorded one studio album that was only officially to be released in Japan.
The band ended before the album was released. Moody and Marsden went on to form The Company Of Snakes and then M3 (5) with Neil Murray, another former Whitesnake member.
