Daiquirí is the name of a Venezuelan musical group, which fused rhythms of tropical music with the dance pop of the 80s.
Daiquirí is a group founded in 1983, in Caracas, Venezuela, which is part of the musical history of that country in the eighties. Trained and led by Alberto Slezynger, who had already joined the fusion group of rock and Latin music "Sietecuero", together with the renowned brothers Evio Di Marzo and Yordano Di Marzo. Most of its other members were part of the group of Venezuelan musicians who traveled to the city of Boston in the United States, in the 70s, to study music at the Berklee College of Music, and / or who already had a recognized trajectory as musicians of session in the Venezuelan disquero atmosphere. Many of them taught at the CeProMusic academy, which was also conducted by the Venezuelan musician and composer Pablo Schneider.
