Real name: Бахнов Владлен Ефимович

Vladlen Efimovich Bakhnov (January 14 [1] 1924, Kharkov - November 26, 1994) a USSR poet, journalist and playwright, screenwriter.

He began to publish in 1946, in collaboration with the executive secretary of the Moskovsky Komsomolets, Yakov Kostyukovsky. He began to write for the stage (Tarapunka and Shtepsel, Raikin, Shurov and Rykunin), clownery (Popov, Nikulin, Karandash). Collaborated in the magazine "Crocodile", in the "Literary Gazette" and other periodicals.

From the 1960s, he began to write screenplays (five of them - in collaboration with Leonid Gaidai). He is the author of several poetry collections and a collection of humorous fiction.
