Avi Matos is an Israeli singer, composer and harmonica player.Born Abraham Tossian and grew up in Eilat. Harmonica and guitar player and fan of reggae music. In 1986, Matos released the first Hebrew reggae record, "Taking the Day Slowly", musically produced by Yossi Fayne. The album's title track, "Taking the Day Slowly", was very successful on the chorus charts, as was "The Rhythm Changes" which became a big radio hit.
Matos also played the harmonica on Ehud Banai's Tip Tipa album.
Since 2012 Matos lives in Cambodia where he grows rubber trees.
