Amanda Barrie
Real name: Shirley Anne Broadbent
Amanda Barrie (born 14 September 1935, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, England) is an English actress. She appeared in two of the Carry On films, before being cast as "Alma Sedgewick (Baldwin)" in the long running British TV series Coronation Street, which she played for 13 years. She has since had a varied stage and TV career.
