John Bryant

Real name: John Douglas Bryant

Effective period / Period of releases: 1966 - 1978

British singer/ songwriter from Tooting, London.
His first taste of the group scene came at school where he was joined by fellow-pupil, Tony McPhee in a short-lived beat group in the early sixties.
He released three singles for Fontana:
"Tell Me What You See", "A Million Miles Away", "Somebody New",
two for MCA Records incl. "I Bring The Sun / Columbine",
one for Decca "She's In Need Of Love" (1969) and various others for Polydor.
His compositions also found their way on to records by artists such as Cliff Richard & The Shadows (She's A Gypsy) and Tim Rose.
