American 1960's vocal duo.
Diane Hall and Annita Ray were in Ray Anthony's first line-up of the female duo he created, The Bookends, that sang with his band from 1960 into 1961. They were the first to record and release " Groovey Kind of Love" in 1965. The song written by Carole Bayer Sager, Muzio Clementi, Toni Wine, became a hit for Wayne Fontana in 1968, Les Gray in 1977 and Phil Collins in 1988.
