King Britt

Real name: King James Britt

American DJ, producer/remixer, and artist.
Born: 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1992 Britt was the DJ for the Grammy winner hip hop-jazz-fusion band Digable Planets (alongside Ishmael Butler, Doodlebug (2), and
Ladybug Mecca).
Britt's career pointed to different directions as he started to travel the world with Digable Planets tours, and with his own ones on the international house music scene as a DJ.
At the very beginning of his journey as solo DJ, he settled into a partnership with the well-known NYC DJ, producer, and owner of the label Ovum Recordings, Josh Wink, who also contributed for the development of his career. One of their first projects together was E-Culture, behind the classic track "Tribal Confusion" (1990) released by Strictly Rhythm.
Founded The Buddy System Project in 2014.
Runs his own label KingBrittArchives.
