American vocalist from San Francisco who sang with Stan Kenton And His Orchestra in the early 1960s. After graduation, she had toured Great Britain and the continent for six weeks with Herb Jeffries. After returning to the United States in 1956, she had a two-week engagement at The Flame Show Bar in Detroit which launched her solo career.
