She had success during the 1960s but never managed to get the real big break, even though she sang and performed with several of the biggest artists. Possibly it was because she was vivacious, outspoken and scandal-ridden, which did not work for a female pop artist in the 1960s. In the early 1970s, among other things, a private sex film with her was circulated and she sang on Johnny Bode's record Bordellmamma dotter, but by then her career had already stagnated.
