Toshiyuki left the band in 1997, and few months later the band debuted as a major act after signing a deal with EastWest. At the same time drummer Kazuki joined the band.
On May 7 1998, both Deshabillz bassist 美歪 and Madeth gray'll guitarist 歪 died in a car crash while they were driving to hide (2)'s funeral. It was later announced that Deshabillz would disband.
Deshabillz eventually resurfaced in 1999 as 螺旋ウィルス (Rasen Virusu) to release a memorial EP dedicated to 美歪 on the anniversary of his death on May 7 1999.
In early 2008, ten years after the disbandment announcement, Shun revived Deshabillz as the only formal member and held a memorial concert on June 1st. In occasion to this, a couple of new CD's were released with the help of session musicians and with Kisaki as songwriter.
