Real name: Daniel Bevilacqua

Christophe (born 13 October 1945, Juvisy-sur-Orge, France - died 16 April 2020) was a French singer and songwriter. His first band was Dany and the Hooligans. As a solo artist he had huge commercial success with "Aline" (1965) and kept getting hits in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of his 70's songs were written with Jean-Michel Jarre. He also did collaborations with Alan Vega, Murcof, Eumir Deodato, Isabelle Adjani, Erik Truffaz and Étant Donnés. He died of emphysema.
